About the
role
In this client facing role you’ll provide assuranceservices to our key clients through independent review of projectestimates and contractual arrangements prior to contractexecution.
You’ll be responsible for planning, developing anddelivering major assurance and advisory engagements which includecontract performance audit, compliance audit and related contractadvisory assignments.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assist in building and mentoring a team of highly skilled contract performance audit, internal audit and risk advisory staff
* Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors, with a focus on risk, controls and assurance
* Supervise and undertake fieldwork including scoping and delivering of risk advisory engagements
* Prepare written reports and deliverables of a high quality and standard, adhering to budgets and timelines
* Internal and external stakeholder management to deliver bespoke solutions
* Drive the continuous improvement of current practice processes, tools and methodologies
* Collaborate with senior management on continuous growth initiatives and business development of the practice
What you’ll need to succeed
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similarrole gained within the professional services industry. Yournatural ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels andanalytical skills will ensure your success in this role.
You will also need:
* Accounting, legal or business related tertiary qualification
* Post Graduate professional qualifications (CA/CPA/CIA)
* Experience with developing and reviewing internal audit scopes and statements of work
* Solid experience in process mapping, risk and control identification
* Experience in presenting to Senior Management, Boards and ARCs
* Exposure to latest better practices/methodologies/frameworks in regard to risk management, project management, records management, procurement/contract management, governance, legislative compliance etc.
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team
* Australian driver’s licence and vehicle access (as travel outside of Brisbane Metro may be required)
