Our Building Structures group is a specialist team renowned for innovation in structural engineering and BIM project execution across high-rise and complex building structures and infrastructure projects, with offices in major cities across Australia. We operate as a nationally autonomous team with opportunities to grow your career and contribute to local and national buildings projects, while expanding your design skills across other market sectors.
What You’ll Do
* Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;
* Ensure timely and quality delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets;
* Handle ongoing communication and maintain effective professional relationships with local clients;
* Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;
* Provide sound technical and delivery guidance for the team;
* Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;
* Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About You
* 5-7 years industry experience on building projects in the commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors.
* Solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete;
* Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery.
* The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
