Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Maritime business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the maritime domain.
Your expertise will help us develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build a pipeline of opportunities over the long term within Australia and emerging markets.
Responsibilities
* Exercise leadership and management skills to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive maritime strategy aligned with company objectives.
* Lead the preparation and submission of unsolicited proposals, bids, tenders, and other approaches to the market.
* Leverage knowledge of defence initiatives across all five domains to support expansion of our presence and capture market share.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous military experience (Navy Principal Warfare Officer or Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer) will be considered favourably.
* A degree in engineering and/or business, or demonstrated excellent management skills, leadership, and soft-power attributes commensurate with senior management experience.
* Demonstrated commercial awareness and business acumen as either the customer or capability deliverer.
