We are seeking a reliable and proactive Gardener to help maintain the outdoor areas of our aged care facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and values creating safe, welcoming spaces for residents.
About the role
* Gardening work across the facility grounds, including lawns, garden beds, pruning and general upkeep
* Scheduled to work 4 days per fortnight: Tuesday to Friday of one week with the balance of the fortnight off
* Opportunity to pick up additional hours by assisting with casual maintenance duties, depending on workload and availability
About you
* A proactive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
* Previous gardening or grounds experience (commercial or residential) preferred
* Willingness to assist with general maintenance tasks when required
* Reliable, physically capable, and safety-focused
* Comfortable working in an aged care environment and respectful of residents
* Hold a current police clearance (or willingness to obtain) less than 3 months old
* It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID vaccination and an up-to-date flu vaccination
