About the role.
As the strategic marketing manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of our marketing strategies that reflects the goals and values of our organisation. This role involves conducting market research, defining and identifying new customers, and evaluating campaign performance. Collaboration with the Pony Sales team and FOH team as well as external partners will be essential to achieve desired outcomes.
We are looking for someone with experience in leading brand strategy, digital marketing initiatives, and implementing promotional plans aimed at direct to customer engagement. You'll shape our annual Brand Plan and execute campaigns, that support our trade & retail sales, event activities, as well as building compelling content across various digital channels. Experience in e-commerce activations including customer data acquisition is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with our target audience and translate consumer and category insights into clear brand direction.
* Plan, develop and execute our annual Brand/Marketing plans across the Prancing Pony Brewery portfolio.
* Engage and connect with our customers emotionally to develop meaningful campaigns that are not 'cookie cutter' campaigns.
* Develop end-customer and trade marketing assets—POS, trade stories, and presentations.
* Create B2B and B2C activation plans aligned to commercial priorities.
* Manage all digital channels and direct digital campaigns across social, website, SEO/SEM and emails.
* Contribute to NPD by validating concepts through consumer insights, trend analysis and competitor benchmarking.
* Support NPD launches from packaging to launch execution.
* Manage marketing budgets and ensure strong ROI across activity.
What we are looing for
* A minimum of 5+ years marketing experience in a similar role, preferably, FMCG (liquor, food or retail).
* Experience in developing Brand or Marketing Plans.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on emotional customer engagement.
* Strong digital execution capability across several platforms (social, content, SEO/SEM, Websites, email).
* Demonstrated hands-on experience across all required digital marketing platforms including social media, content creation, SEO/SEM, website management, and email marketing.
* Ability to translate research and insights into practical, commercially aligned activity.
* Ability to work on multiple projects at once and agility to make things happen.
* Experience in supporting sales teams with customer facing materials.
* No job too small or too big, with a can-do attitude.
* Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications (preferred)
