Join the School of Law as an Administration Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our busy and dynamic team. As the first point of contact, you’ll provide efficient, high-quality administrative support across teaching, assessment, research, and general operations.

The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Front Office Administration
* Deliver professional, client-focused reception services (email, phone and in person).
* Provide accurate information to students and triage enquiries to appropriate staff.
Student Administration
* Provide general program, course and scholarship information to students.
* Support teaching and assessment processes, including Blackboard coordination, exam administration and assessment variations.
* Maintain student records and assist academic staff with class and tutorial list administration.
Research Administration
* Provide administrative support for Higher Degree by Research programs.
* Assist with visiting academics, research programs and Research Committee documentation.
General Administration
* Support day-to-day School operations, including facilities, asset and access management.
* Coordinate room bookings, equipment loans and office supplies.
* Maintain records, prepare agendas and minutes, and contribute to a professional and well-organised office environment.
* Undertake additional duties as required to support the School.

About You
You are a proactive and highly organised administrator with strong coordination and interpersonal skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
You will bring:
* A Diploma in Business, Law or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
* Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures, ideally within a university or student administration setting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in person, by phone and via email.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
* Experience using corporate systems (e.g. CRM, Si-Net, UniFi, UniTask, SiPass) and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
* Initiative, discretion and integrity, with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
