Child Care Educator Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting lead educators in planning engaging learning activities, ensuring child safety, wellbeing, and development, maintaining accurate records and documentation, communicating effectively with parents and guardians, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations, and participating in staff meetings and professional development.
* Plan and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
* Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children at all times.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of children's progress and development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and meetings.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to study.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm, patience, and passion for working with children.
