Job Description:
As an emergency response specialist, you will be part of a team providing high-quality fire, rescue, and emergency services. The role involves responding to incidents and emergencies, promoting community safety, and developing competencies through regular drills and training courses.

* Live or work within a reasonable distance of the emergency response station
* Australian Permanent Resident Status
* Manual C Class driver's licence
The successful candidate will have the ability to operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively, as well as contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities. They will also ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
Attending 75% of regular drill and training sessions will provide opportunities for skills acquisition and maintenance. Participating in ongoing programs, including first aid/emergency care, will enhance the candidate's competencies. Compliance with QFES policies and procedures is essential for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
