**About the Role**
This position requires you to work closely with Finance and Actuarial teams involved in costing, reserving, financial reporting, and capital management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting in the group and local IFRS 17 financial reporting and ensure the fulfillment of local requirements;
- Providing independent review, challenge and oversight over actuarial methods used in valuing business, calculating reserves and capital while making use of data science techniques;
- Driving continuous process improvements to maximise productivity;
- Handling stakeholder requests and deliver solutions independently;
- Collaborating with Corporate Solutions and Asset Management within the APAC region; and
- Completing ad hoc analysis and tasks to support the members of the team
**About You**
The most relevant criteria for this position are the following:
- Proven experience in insurance or financial services, preferably in Property & Casualty;
- Possess an internationally recognized Actuarial qualification or making solid progress towards such qualification;
- Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP financial principles;
- Experienced in using actuarial and statistical software;
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, and execute across multiple work efforts simultaneously
- Work independently and remotely with people across locations and time zones
**About the Team**
You will be part of the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions actuarial reserving team. We are responsible for determining the technical reserves at adequate levels meeting all local statutory, US GAAP and IFRS 17 requirements globally. In addition, we are supporting Swiss Re Group in all actuarial risk management aspects in respect to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
