Based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will join a high-performing Customer Services team and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day inventory transactions and routines for our Military G-Wagon Fleet, ensuring the timely and effective completion of tasks and assisting the National Fleet Manager with key reviews, plans, budgets, and deliverables.By joining our market-leading organization in the automotive sector, you will have access to discounted car leasing programs, state-of-the-art design, on-site parking, exciting on-the-job learning, mentoring, and many more benefits.Responsibilities include:Perform routine tasks related to materiel logistics, inventory control, and asset management in accordance with Defence requirements.Interpret and apply relevant Defence policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance in inventory and asset management activities.Review procurement and requirements reports and raise replenishment or procurement requests as needed.Monitor and action outstanding tasks from the Business Process Monitoring (BPM) list to maintain workflow efficiency.Prepare and submit procurement proposals for inventory top-ups, fleet modifications, and related projects.Collaborate with technical teams to support the codification of new items into the NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics (NMCRL) and assess inclusion in the MILIS catalogue.Identify opportunities for on-the-job training within the fleet management team and prepare Disposal Directives for submission and approval.QualificationsWhat you will need to be successful:At least two years of inventory management experience is desirable.Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.Strong interpersonal and planning skills.Highly developed analytical skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines.Leadership skills to effectively manage and collaborate with team members at all levels.
