Key Responsibilities & Curriculum Development
This role requires a proactive approach to teaching and learning, with a strong focus on curriculum enhancement:
* High-Level Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous Mathematics instruction up to Year 12, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for high-level mathematical concepts.
* Curriculum Leadership: Actively contribute to the development and refinement of engaging Mathematics and Science curricula and assessment resources across all year levels.
* Resource Development: Comfortably develop high-quality, practical Maths resources that align with current syllabus requirements and support diverse learning needs.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely within the large Mathematics team, contributing positively to departmental strategies under the guidance of the Director of Mathematics, Numeracy, and Data.

Essential Selection Criteria
* Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or capacity to obtain registration.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education with specialization in Mathematics and/or Science.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics up to Year 12.
* A proven track record of exemplary classroom management and independent student behaviour strategies.
* Capacity to actively engage in curriculum development and resource writing within the department.
