Mechanical Reliability Engineer
Southwest Australia Location
Our client is a long-established Southwest based manufacturer of various timber products. As a result of this ongoing growth, they are seeking to add a Reliability Engineer to their team. The plant combines multiple fixed plant machinery such as conveyors, belts and other materials handling and cutting equipment.
What will this position entail?
* Developing and implementing equipment maintenance strategies for all machine centres.
* Becoming hands on with preparing the Engineering Maintenance Budget to support maintenance strategies.
* Planning machine centre improvement programs and leading site-wide change management systems.
* Coordinating with and supervising contractors, maintenance planners / supervisors, and service providers to ensure effective project delivery.
* Conducting technical evaluations for existing plant equipment, recommending upgrades, replacements and improvements as required.

How can I be successful?
* Mechanical Engineering degree.
* 5 years + experience within manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
* Strong project management and key machine skills.
* Experience with various modelling software.
* Full Australian working rights and valid current driver's licence.
