Overview
Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, the Finance Manager will oversee core finance functions including reporting, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow management. This hands-on role also supports the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee, contributes to strategic business planning, and ensures strong financial governance across all entities.
You will also provide valuable insights to senior leadership, mentor junior staff, and help drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Deliver budgets, forecasts, and real-time reporting across business activities.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee insurance renewals and regulatory lodgements (BAS, FBT).
- Support the development of business plans and financial modelling.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong skills in Xero; experience with Calxa, Dext and Axcelerate is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.
