Responsibilities
- Provide consultancy services in the Water Infrastructure market across the ANZ region.
- Lead project delivery, client relationship management, and technical leadership in ANZ.
- Collaborate with commercial, operational management, sales and technical leaders to create strategies, pursue opportunities and plan, develop and deliver projects to achieve technical and commercial outcomes.
- Support the NSW Water Infrastructure Section and the wider ANZ water group in team development, mentoring, growth, building technical capability and expanding the water infrastructure portfolio.
- Act as technical and project lead for water infrastructure design projects and provide guidance on large strategic consulting and planning projects.
- Stay current with new methods, technologies and developments to contribute to the group’s strategic direction.
- Identify strategic pursuits, drive business development, and participate in work-winning activities including client engagement, bid assessments, proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain strong client relationships, act as trusted advisor to key clients and represent the Water Infrastructure team at thought leadership events.
- Ensure compliance with Jacobs QA/QC procedures, including deliverable reviews, commercial reviews and contractual administration.
- Develop less senior personnel through coaching and feedback; promote safety and Jacobs Beyond Zero culture; uphold shared values.
- Support cross-geography collaboration to maximise global delivery benefits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and breadth of water services engineering and design.
- Extensive understanding of safety in design and its application.
- Extensive understanding of multidisciplinary interfaces in design development of water assets.
- Extensive understanding of technical standards for design, construction and maintenance.
- Extensive working knowledge of the local setting and relevant industry, particularly local area.
- Knowledge sharing within Jacobs.
- Leadership ability within the team and a culture of quality and successful projects.
- Experience leading and developing employees and teams.
- Experience with cross-discipline working ethic.
