Global Supply Chain Manager Job Description
The role of the Global Supply Chain Manager involves overseeing our company's global supply chain program, fostering relationships with industry and government stakeholders in Australia, and ensuring that program performance metrics are met on time, within budget, and aligned with corporate and program priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement industrial development initiatives aligned with GSC objectives.
* Build and maintain relationships with industry, government, and other stakeholders globally.
* Coordinate participation at local and international events, conferences, site visits, and training initiatives.
* Support program capture objectives and communications initiatives.
* Track and report on opportunity progress, maintain databases, and update relevant online platforms.
* Identify world-class Australian capabilities that align with our company's priorities.

* Able to navigate Defence technology changes and a dynamic business environment.
* Strong ability to look across business areas to identify corporate and program requirements.
* Demonstrates commercial acumen, with an understanding of business drivers, financial considerations, and market dynamics beyond Defence.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, engaging with executives and stakeholders.
* Experience with SMEs, universities, or Australian export control compliance is beneficial.
* Microsoft Office proficiency; additional tools experience advantageous.
