Head of Construction
Up to $300K + Super + Bonus | National Role | Fast-Growth Infrastructure Owner
Big growth. Big impact. This is your chance to lead construction delivery across a rapidly expanding national depot infrastructure network - where real decisions and real projects sit in your hands.
You'll oversee the rollout of new and upgraded facilities nationwide - managing a busy pipeline of up to 20 projects a year and an annual program worth around $30M.
From site acquisition through to commissioning, you'll be the one driving outcomes, maintaining accountability, and keeping momentum high.
What you'll get to do
* Lead end-to-end delivery for projects - from planning and approvals through to handover.
* Oversee a diverse project portfolio involving civil, structural, mechanical and electrical components:
o Excavations, footings, and underground services
o Fuel systems, pumps, and tank installations
o Modular shelters, canopies, and building structures
o Technology systems – CCTV, card readers, comms
* Manage budget, schedule, safety, and compliance across multiple live projects.
* Collaborate closely with infrastructure, property, and executive teams to keep things moving.
* Travel regularly (approx. 25%) - visiting sites and making sure projects are delivered to plan.
About you
You're a hands on construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment. You know how to juggle competing priorities, make smart calls, and inspire teams to get sh*t done - safely and commercially.
* Background in civil, building, and/or services projects
* Experience managing multiple concurrent builds or upgrade programs
* Strong technical and commercial acumen
* Able to manage budgets, contractors, and stakeholder relationships with confidence
* Strategic thinker who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves
