Details
The newly established Digital Canberra Directorate (DCBR) responsible for overseeing all digital and IT functions across the ACT Public Service, is seeking to appoint an experienced, energetic and forward-thinking Chief Performance Officer (CPO).

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director-General, the CPO will play a pivotal role in translating DCBR's vision into actions through the establishment and day-to-day operational oversight of a diverse and complex set of corporate functions to be delivered by the Strategic Finance, Governance and Risk, and Strategic Sourcing and Portfolio Management branches.
This CPO is responsible for driving overall operational synergies across DCBR, ensuring cultural alignment and directorate-wide initiatives are developed and implemented. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong leadership, analytical prowess and excellent communication skills. With a commitment to public service integrity and people management being essential.
Applicants should have demonstrated leadership experience providing similar corporate functions in a public sector environment, and a demonstrated capacity to contribute to and support various activities across the directorate.
Remuneration
The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $377,954 - $389,635 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $333,737 .
Contract
The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
