Your New Role
You’lljoin the Project Team delivering the Camp Comms Upgrade, transformingaccommodation rooms from traditional key locks to modern swipe‑cardaccess. This project is expected to run for approximately 3 months, with thepotential for extension, operating on an 8/6 dayshift roster. Travel optionsinclude DIDO from Cloncurry or Mt Isa, or FIFO from Townsville or Cairns.Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting Electricians with daily tasks and on‑site project activities
* Transporting tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas
* Performing general labouring duties such as digging, sweeping, tidying, and preparing work zones
* Supporting the safe and efficient progress of the comms upgrade project
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To jump into thisrole, you’ll bring:
* Manual Driver's license
* Previous Trade Assistant experience in the mining industry (preferred)
* The ability to work both independently and in a team
* Ability to pass a police check and mine site medical, including D&A
* Off siding electricians or comms tech
