We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef Supervisor to lead our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals for residents while maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities:
* Develop menus in consultation with residents, dietitians, RNs in Charge, and General Managers to ensure adequate nutrition and hydration standards are met.
* Document resident needs, preferences, and assistive devices to ensure their requirements are met.
* Manage recipe documentation for menu dishes and special dietary requirements, including cultural and spiritual considerations.
* Order supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels according to menu plans.
* Implement, monitor, and evaluate the Food Safety Program.
* Address resident complaints and feedback.
* Cook meals according to the menu and Food Safety Program.
* Lead and support catering staff to deliver consistent quality service.
* Foster teamwork and a positive working environment within the catering department.
Requirements:
* Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate.
* Experience in hospitality.
* Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
* NDIS Screening Check.
* Legislative compliance with Aged Care Worker Screening requirements.
