**About the Role**:
Securecorp are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team in assisting in the day-to-day operations, processing, and reporting of the accounts payable & receivable transactions.
**Description**:
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Assure timely and accurate invoicing within deadlines
- Assure timely collection of monies due for your assigned portfolio
- Manage setup of new customers and changes to existing customer database
- Ensure software system is consistently updated with correct chargeable rates
- Assure timely and accurate input of Purchase Orders
- Manage and review Recipient Created Tax Invoices process
- Perform financial analysis of business as assigned by Financial Accountant
- Work with and assist in the yearly audit function and assist with audit requests as assigned
- Coordinating and/or working on special projects as assigned by the Financial Accountant and Finance Manager
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:
- Currently working towards a Charted Accounted or Certified Public Accountant Qualification
- Finance, Accounting, or relevant tertiary qualification
- Mature approach to your work/workplace
- To show empathy and compassion to others
- To work harmoniously with the other departments and the finance team
- To show team work and ensure that the results of the team are achieved by the designated timelines
