About Our Terminal Operations
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Terminal Operator to join our team in Gladstone. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily terminal operations across two sites, ensuring safe and reliable operations at all times.
Your primary duties will include assisting with the delivery of ordered bunkers, performing daily duties around the terminal, operating the blending station, and working closely with on-site contractors and visitors.
You will also be required to schedule, administer, and report on various aspects of terminal operations, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers a high level of variety, with opportunities to work both indoors and outdoors, including on the waterfront.
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a willingness to learn new things and take on additional responsibilities.
A strong team-playing attitude and an eye for continuous improvement are essential qualities for this role, as is the ability to use MS Office software effectively.
Previous experience working in high-risk environments is desirable, but not essential – we provide all necessary training to get you up to speed in aspects of bulk fuel terminals.
Flexibility in your availability is important, as our terminal operational needs can sometimes span outside of regular hours, with some nights and weekends involved.
