About the role
We are looking for caring and dedicated Home Care Worker - Disability Care / Aged Care to support aged care and disability clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
* Help people with disabilities live independent lives by providing care and support.
* Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and meals.
* Organize social and recreational activities to promote inclusion.
* Monitor clients' health and medication and provide emotional support.
* Work with a team and keep records of care.
* Support elderly individuals in maintaining their independence and well-being.
* Help with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming.
* Provide companionship and engage in conversation.
* Assist with household chores and organizing activities.
* Monitor health, administer medications, and document care.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients.
* Knowledge of person-centered care principles and safety regulations.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and manual tasks.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if needed).
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
* Preferably with Certificate III or IV (Advantage)
* Preferably with hoist experience (Advantage)
