Responsibilities
- Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 8pm.
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.
- Checks cake order stand for special orders.
- Pulls stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
- Depans, garnishes and packages baked cheesecakes and the full range of Costco cake products.
Places finished product on racks and transfers racks to cooler, freezer or wrapping area.
- Checks production schedule for daily needs.
Processes all cakes following assembly instruction in Cake Decorating Manual.
- Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
- Keeps decorating area clean and explicit of debris.
Follows safety and security procedures.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
- Completes and complies with Costco policies of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification and all safety training required by warehouse and department.
- Assists with monthly inventory.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary, particularly Food Court and Deli
