This is a high-growth consumer goods business operating across e‐commerce, B2B, offline retail, and brand management. The company represents internationally recognised brands and focuses on scaling their presence within the Australian market.
One of the core brands sits within the home wellness and consumer electronics category and already has strong traction with leading national electronics retailers. The next phase of growth is focused on expanding offline distribution nationwide across additional major retail groups.
Key responsibilities:
* Own national retail expansion: Secure ranging and listings across major Australian retailers, including consumer electronics and appliance chains.
* Manage buyer relationships: Lead range reviews, promotional planning, product launches, and ongoing commercial discussions.
* Field-based execution: Conduct regular store visits to review displays, stock availability, POS compliance, pricing, and competitor activity.
* Channel development: Identify and unlock opportunities beyond major electronics retailers, including health, pet speciality, and home/lifestyle channels.
* Retail staff training: Deliver product knowledge and category training to improve sell-through at store level.
* Reporting & communication: Provide weekly field reports and monthly account updates to an overseas-based director in a lean, async working environment.
Requirements:
* Min 3 years' experience in Key Account Management, Channel Sales, Territory Sales, or Trade Sales.
* Experience within consumer electronics, home appliances, FMCG, or a closely related category.
* Proven exposure to major Australian retail buyer engagements (e.g. national big-box retailers).
* Existing buyer relationships across large retail groups are highly advantageous.
* Strong commercial capability, including understanding of trading terms, margin structures, co-op funding, and promotional mechanics.
* Comfortable operating autonomously in-market, with reporting lines offshore.
* Valid Australian driver's licence and own vehicle (frequent store visits required).
* Willingness to travel interstate as needed.
