The Role
You'll be performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of agricultural machinery across broadacre and mixed-farming operations.
Key Duties Include:
* Service, fault-find, and overhaul tractors, sprayers, and combine harvesters
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems
* Use OEM diagnostic software and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues
* Perform field service and on-farm repairs during peak seasons
* Maintain accurate job records and ensure all work meets safety standards
* Contribute to a supportive, high-performing team environment
Key Requirements:
* Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting, Agricultural Mechanical Technology, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
* Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience servicing or repairing agricultural equipment
* Proven experience with Case IH, New Holland, or John Deere machinery (essential)
* Strong diagnostic ability in engines, hydraulics, electrics, and transmissions
* Willingness to relocate to regional Australia and work in a rural setting
* Commitment to quality, safety, and customer service
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
A positive Skills Assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is highly desirable. Please note this is not an entry-level position. Only suitably experienced agricultural technicians will be contacted.
