Join a trusted regional firm delivering excellence in family lawOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Family LawyerWe are seeking a candidate with experience in family law who can confidently manage a varied and complex caseload, provide strategic advice to clients, and contribute to the continued growth of our family law practice.Your RoleAs a Family Lawyer, You WillAdvise and represent clients across a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, spousal maintenance, child support, and financial agreements.
Draft and settle court documents, affidavits, and correspondence.
Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and liaise with Counsel and experts as required.
Engage in negotiation, mediation, and dispute resolution processes.
Supervise junior staff (if applicable) and provide mentorship within the team.
Assist with file management, practice development, and contribute to firm initiatives.
What We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years' post-admission experience in family law (more senior applicants encouraged to apply).
Strong knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975, court rules, and relevant legislation.
Confident in advocacy, negotiation, and managing sensitive client matters with professionalism.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
A genuine passion for helping families navigate complex legal issues.
