An exciting position has just become available with a major dealer group.
The group is privately owned and operated and established back in the 60's. They have several dealerships in and around Melbourne retailing major brands. This role is based in Southbank.
Reception - front of the Showroom, it's a must have position and it is a role that can open up that many doors! Speaking from experience I can assure you that it CAN kick start your administrative career, deliver many recent skill sets, give variety, allow plenty of interaction - the gain from this position is so worth starting in one is one of the most important roles in the Dealership Showroom!
**Role Responsibilities of the Receptionist**
- Answer incoming calls & direct them to the relevant department
- Welcome visitors to the Dealership Showroom & attend to the enquiries, referring them on to Parts, Service, Sales
- Perform daily banking - process cash sales, accounts payments into the system
- Assist with purchase orders
- Key Creditor's invoices
- Assist with dealership scanning, filing
- Maintain the dealership's stationery supplies
- Assist the Stock Controller and/or Administration staff with bringing vehicles into stock
- Grab the opportunity to learn the VIC Roads - acquisitions, transfers, new registrations
