Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for capable Internal Paint Sales person with sales experience in any industry. This is a full-time position that includes an occasional rostered Saturday morning (from 8am to 1pm) shift. As an Internal Paint Salesperson you will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for supporting the following: Providing excellent customer service to customers across all product lines including automotive, marine, industrial and house paints and all paint consumables. Assist in administrative and point of sale duties including customer invoicing and processing of sales. Be multi-skilled and prepared to support in the store warehouse and also with delivery driving as required. and Build positive working relationships with trading partners to ensure the ongoing development of the brand and Group reputation. YOUR ROLE You will have the responsibility for working closely with the Store Manager in the delivery of the following key tasks: Ensuring a commitment to providing a professional customer experience for all customers. Answering and processing customer orders via telephone and email. Use of Point-of-sale systems and computers for the processing and invoicing of customer orders and sales. Provide quotations to customers in a timely manner. Presentation and housekeeping of the showroom and warehouse, including in-house cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping, wiping down shelves and counters and other spot cleaning tasks as required. Receipting incoming stock against purchase orders. Maintaining inventory records, picking and packing orders received and organising delivery of orders to customers either in person or through a freight provider. Following up with suppliers on any outstanding orders, purchase orders and deliveries. Loading/unloading and maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle. Resolution of customer enquiries and where they arise complaints and concerns. Use of computer software and supporting equipment for the purpose of colour-matching paint samples. Tinting and mixing paint. Adherence to Workplace, Health and Safety requirements and procedures. Any other reasonable duties as directed. HOW YOU WILL BE ASSESSED The successful applicant will have the following mix of technical and personal skills: Good verbal and phone communication skills. A positive attitude to working in a busy and varied role. Pride in your ability to build long-term customer relationships. Strong organisation and time management skills. A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Physical aptitude to manage weights upwards of 20kg. Experience in the same or similar industries; and A current forklift license and a current driver’s license (manual).
