**About the role**
We are assisting in the search for an enthusiastic and capable Automotive Parts Interpreter to join the team in Lidcombe. The head office position is responsible for providing dealers with technical assistance and information to ensure the efficient and accurate supply of parts to the dealer network.
**Duties**
- Provides interpreting advice to dealers by using local and factory information sources.
- Assists dealers by providing advice on general parts issues and liaising with the warehouse to ensure specific requests for packing, inspections or dispatch are met
- Contribute to stock levels of new and revised models by reviewing advanced technical and parts information and recommending parts to be stocked.
- Reviewing back-order reports daily and suggesting items to air freight, and sea freight to ensure no nil stock position
- Assist in the rectification of specific parts problems by liaising with factory Technical Support on particular issues.
- Ensure internal orders are filled in a timely manner
**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience in Parts Interpreting is a must!
- Automotive industry knowledge and understanding.
- Strong interpersonal Skill
- Computer skills and experience in parts catalogues
- Solid communication skills, verbal and written
- Energetic & a team player
- Well-polished and presentable appearance.
