Are you a Cyber Security Engineer with strong Netskope experience looking for a long-term program of work in Melbourne? This role offers a 6-month rolling contract with high likelihood of extension across a 3-year security uplift program. With a preference for Melbourne based candidates, the team is flexible and open to applicants from Sydney or Queensland. Your new role
You'll be contributing to the uplift of a large, legacy environment while helping mature an established Netskope platform that is continually evolving with new security requirements. With ongoing investment in cloud and security uplift, this role offers significant scope and the chance to influence enterprise-wide security outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Engineering, uplift and optimisation of Netskope technologies across the enterprise
* Working across on-prem and cloud environments (Azure/AWS), supporting secure modernisation
* Ensuring secure connectivity between cloud services and the Netskope platform
* Supporting endpoint-focused security uplift (phones, laptops, and distributed workforce devices)
* Contributing to continuous improvement of cloud security posture
* Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams within a major enterprise environment
What you'll need to succeed
* 5+ years of proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, ideally within large, complex organisations
* Hands-on expertise with Netskope (SWG, CASB, DLP, SSPM/CSPM or relevant modules)
* Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security and how cloud services integrate with Netskope
* Experience across both on-prem and cloud operating environments
* Exposure to endpoint security controls, secure network design, or cloud security uplift projects
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with engineering and architecture teams
