Job Title: Quantitative Research Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced quantitative research specialist to lead and coordinate quantitative research projects in our Discipline of General Practice. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clinicians, data analysts, qualitative researchers, and community representatives to provide research support in various initiatives related to prevention, diagnosis, and management of different conditions in primary care.
About the Position
This is a fixed-term, full-time position available for 12 months with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating quantitative health research projects and preparing/writing grant applications.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate quantitative research projects and support other researchers' activities in the Discipline of General Practice
* Develop new grant applications, supervise postgraduate students, and support publications arising from these activities
* Work with a dynamic team of primary care researchers to provide research support in different initiatives related to prevention, diagnosis, and management of different conditions in primary care
Requirements
* A PhD in epidemiology, public health, medical sciences, or other areas relevant to primary health care
* Research experience in an area related to primary health care
* Demonstrated experience in coordinating quantitative health research projects and preparing/writing grant applications
* Proven experience in preparing/ writing health research publications
