Corporate Services OfficerFull-time TemporaryDetails: The Corporate Services Officer, Professional Services is a key position in the ACT Audit Office, providing financial and administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the ACT Audit Office.The Corporate Services Officer works under the general guidance and direction of the ACT Audit Office’s Senior Director, Professional Services, while also regularly working directly with the Finance Officer and Chief Finance Officer and providing administrative support to the Executive Officer and regular reports to the Chief Operating Officer.In this role you will be responsible for supporting financial management, information technology, accommodation, human resources and the general administration of the ACT Audit Office.The role requires experience of financial management (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end journals), demonstrated abilities in office administration and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. This position is a Position of Trust 1 and therefore, if you are selected for this position, you will have Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance at ‘Baseline’ level. If you do not have Baseline security clearance, and you are a citizen or a permanent resident, the Office will undertake an internal security assessment to assess against this criterion.Note: This is a temporary position available May 2025 until December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. Selection will be based on a written application, an interview and referee reports. A merit pool may be established from this selection process to be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
