About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Survey Group as a Survey Manager based in Osborne Park, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all survey operations for a range of projects in the mining/construction industry.
What you'll be doing
* Lead a team of surveyors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of survey data and deliverables
* Develop and implement survey strategies and methodologies to support project requirements
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate survey activities
* Manage survey budgets, resources, and timelines to optimise efficiency
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to the survey team
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of survey processes and practices
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Survey Manager or in a senior surveying role
* Proven track record of managing survey teams and projects in the construction industry
* Excellent technical knowledge of surveying equipment, methods, and software
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team to achieve project objectives
* Proficient in using survey-related software, such as CAD, GIS, and data processing tools
* Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
