Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, growing account profitability, and driving new business opportunities.
The Account Executive will work closely with our sales team to develop key opportunities, manage existing accounts, and onboard new customers. This position plays a pivotal role in achieving revenue targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and strengthening partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow direct customer profitability within your assigned territory.
* Build strong relationships with current and potential customers to drive retention and growth.
* Support vendor relationship management to ensure effective collaboration.
* Prepare and deliver quotes, including cost analysis, specifications, and pricing.
* Maintain and update customer pricing with a focus on maximising margins.
* Provide accurate sales reporting, expense reimbursements, and account updates.
* Support sales tracking, follow-up processes, and job monitoring to ensure service excellence.
* Contribute to inside sales activities as required.
About You
* High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
* Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
* Team player with proven relationship-building skills.
* Experience in the distribution industry is highly desirable.
