Job Description:
* Manage contracts: Review and approve on-premise and cloud growth agreements, ensuring accurate recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable standards.
* Support teams: Provide guidance to Sales, Legal, and Order Management teams on deal structure and contractual terms for revenue compliance and optimization.
* Review documentation: Assess non-standard technical accounting terms and computation of accounting adjustments needed for executed agreements in the APAC region.
* Communicate with auditors: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting matters, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Revenue experience: 5+ years, with at least 3 years in a technical accounting role, preferably with Public Companies experience.
* Knowledge of GAAP: Strong understanding of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
* Technical skills: Proficient in using large-scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro.
* Leadership skills: Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans.
* Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact effectively with all levels at the company.
* Analytical skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
* Education: BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent is preferred but not required. Experience with a Big-4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
