Haynes are currently seeking skilled and experienced CNC Machinists to join our clients team. In this position, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality, custom-machined components. You'll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines with accuracy and efficiency.
Position Details:
* Monday to Friday roster with overtime available
* 6:30am to 2:36pm daily
* Casual Temp to Perm opportunity
* $53.12 per hour plus penalties
* Available for immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Perform tool changes and offsets as needed
* Maintain strict quality control standards
* Troubleshoot and adjust programs to optimise performance
* Ensure machinery is maintained and operated safely
* Produce high-quality work within appropriate timeframes
* Contribute to a safe work environment following company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
* Relevant Trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Fabriciation) or similar qualification
* Hold current drivers' licence and reliable transport
* Good communication skills both verbal and written
* Able to read and interpret drawings and measurements accurately
* Strong knowledge of machining practices and safety standards.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen.
