This great organisation that means so much to so many, which is located in the north west of Sydney, is in need of a Technical Product Engineer. This role will see you prepare and evaluate technical design, tender and specification documentation for appliances, equipment, PPE/PPC and other engineering products, so as to enhance operational safety and capability, while achieving value for money. Some of your duties will include: Lead the design, development, testing and evaluation of products and services across engineering categories to ensure they are fit for purpose. Analyse and interpret data to inform strategic decisions and implement processes and practices to optimise business outcomes. Coordinate procurement solutions across engineering categories enhancing operational capability. Provide strategic advice on procurement related risks and opportunities, supplier performance and operational effectiveness. You will bring to the role: Previous experience in engineering design and principles including the generation and interpretation of drawings, Knowledge around technical management, research and problem solving with the ability to develop and implement complex research and development projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build out documentation based on specifications.
