Assistant Store Manager Role
We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Leading and guiding a small team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
* Assisting with stock control, merchandising, and inventory management.
* Providing technical advice and support to customers.
* Maintaining high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
* Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Processing POS transactions and maintaining accurate records.
* Assisting with local deliveries to trade customers as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Strong leadership skills and experience in coaching, developing, and mentoring teams.
* Previous experience working in a customer-facing role in retail or sales.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth.
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of Point of Sale systems.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
* Capacity to lift 15 litres of paint and perform manual tasks.
