The role
The Sales Assistant position at JB Cameron's Steel Department in Ballarat is an exciting opportunity for someone proactive and customer-focused. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager in a part-time 30-hour per week role, this position offers significant opportunities for career advancement within the organisation.
Key responsibilities include providing support and expertise on JB Cameron's products and services, ensuring they align with the company's values and high standards of customer service. You'll also manage retail and trade sales, handle quotes, and oversee order processes.

Key tasks
* General trade sales, quoting, ordering, and follow-up
* Overseeing reporting & schedules
* Building and maintaining exceptional customer relationships in both a face-to-face environment and via phone
