**Point of Sale Trainer Role Summary**



We are seeking a skilled Point of Sale Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure that staff are proficient in using our systems.

**Job Description**

The Point of Sale Trainer will be responsible for:

* Developing and maintaining up-to-date training materials, including manuals, guides and online resources

* Conducting training sessions for new employees and refresher courses for existing staff

* Tailoring training approaches to accommodate different learning styles and needs

* Staying informed about updates and new features of software and training staff on new functionalities

* Providing ongoing support to staff, answering questions and resolving issues related to the system

* Troubleshooting common problems and liaising with clients to provide solutions

* Collecting feedback from staff and clients regarding system features and training effectiveness

* Continuously improving training programs based on feedback and performance assessments

* Collaborating with Product Owners to ensure the system aligns with business needs

* Communicating any system changes or updates to all relevant stakeholders

* Ensuring all training and usage of systems comply with legal and company standards



**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or a similar related field

* Proven experience as a Point of Sale – POS Trainer or similar role

* Excellent understanding of POS – Point of Sale systems and their applications in a business setting

* Experience as a field technician, with a focus on POS systems, payment solutions, or IT support

* Proficiency in troubleshooting POS systems, network connectivity, and hardware components

* Familiarity with software applications related to POS, databases, and networking

* Basic understanding of SQL and system administration preferred

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Ability to create engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions

* Problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical issues

* Patient and a strong desire to assist others in learning new technologies

* Additional skills: flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and environments, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks, willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
