Bistro Supervisor Position
Our bistro is seeking a results-driven supervisor with exceptional leadership skills to oversee day-to-day operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role involves managing a high-performing team, enhancing customer experience and ensuring efficient setup for daily bookings.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a dynamic team to deliver outstanding service
- Review daily bookings and ensure seamless restaurant setup
- Motivate staff to achieve operational excellence
- Address customer complaints effectively and resolve conflicts promptly
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to coordinate events and functions
- Prepare weekly rosters for front-of-house staff
- Report on daily operational issues and share insights with management
**Essential Skills and Experience**
Proven experience as a supervisor, preferably in hospitality, is required. Strong leadership skills, the ability to grow a team and excellent communication skills are essential. Attention to detail, organisational abilities and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
Additionally, knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices is necessary. A current RSA certificate and First Aid certification (preferred) are also desirable.
