Role Overview:
As the senior-most product owner in the domain, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of digital solutions tailored to the insurance sector. You will lead a team of talented professionals and work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive end-to-end development of digital solutions within the domain, adhering to a product-platform model.
* Set clear OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for all squads in the domain and provide hands-on guidance to prioritize and execute towards those goals.
* Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for integrated planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
* Build and nurture a collaborative and high-performing team through effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
* Manage dependencies and proactively remove blockers across squads within the domain.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, keeping a pulse on the business landscape.
* Manage the domain budget and guide strategic decision-making, ensuring adherence to quality standards and financial objectives.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in software development, IT, product management, finance, business, economics, insurance, or risk management.
* Minimum of 15 years of professional experience as a product owner or business transformation executive - must be in the insurance industry or insurtech.
* Deep domain-specific knowledge with a focus on customer experience, digital solutions, and data-enabled decision-making.
* Demonstrated expertise in product lifecycle management and financial/P&L ownership.
* Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
* Proven track record of driving results and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Performance Measures:
Performance will be measured based on individual annual goals, focusing on areas such as People & Culture, Risk, Customer, and Profit & Financials.
