The Role:
As Finance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with payroll
- Handling petty cash and expense claims
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Preparing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaising with Project Teams
- Issuing client statements and following up payments
- Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and ad hoc finance tasks
About You:
- Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping or finance support, ideally for a construction company
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with Cheops software is desirable but not essential
- Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a small team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
