Warehouse Officer Job Description
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving and storing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.
About the Role:
* Establish and maintain high standards of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain the stores efficiently and ensure inventory is optimised.
* Ensure parts and equipment for mobile and fixed plant fleets are available to meet organisational and maintenance targets.
* Perform general administration duties as required to ensure daily performance targets are achieved.
* Optimise efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
* Manage stores inventory and coordinate periodic stock takes.
Requirements:
* High-Risk Forklift Licence is essential.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* High standard of housekeeping ability.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, along with an understanding of JD Edwards (preferred but not essential).
* Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Regulations.
