Job Title: Executive Assistant
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other senior leaders in their day-to-day operations.
* Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and events for the CEO and Councillors.
* Prepare accurate correspondence, agendas, briefing papers, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
* Support the delivery of strategic initiatives and Council events.
* Assist the CEO and Mayor on special projects and contribute to continuous improvement across the business unit.
About You:
* You have extensive experience in a senior executive support role, preferably in local government or a similar environment.
* You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as high-level interpersonal skills.
* Discretion and judgment are essential when handling confidential information.
* Advanced computer skills across Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneNote, and online meeting platforms are required.
Requirements:
* A current driver's licence and Police Check are mandatory.
* Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check is also required.
