About the role
We currently have an opening for a CNC Programmer in our Wangara location.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in our production process.
Responsibilities
* Production Programming: Manage day-to-day programming of work using industry-standard CAD and Sigmanest software.
* Technical Support: Assist internal Customer Service staff with technical enquiries and support customers through issues relating to programming and cutting.
* Collaboration: Perform various ad hoc tasks as directed to support the broader operations team.
* Various ad hoc tasks as directed by the Operations Manager
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and possess strong analytical skills.
* Experience using industry-standard CAD and Sigmanest software.
* Sound computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office.
* Ability to work unsupervised and organise your own workload.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
* Previous experience as a Programmer for a Laser or Plasma business is highly regarded.
