Specialised Carer - Home Care
Join HammondCare as a Specialised Carer to support clients across the Ballina and Lismore region, including Suffolk Park, Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Mullumbimby.
About The Role
Provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life. The role requires traveling to clients' homes using your own car; you will be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time and receive a mobile phone and paid travel time.
Care Work You'll Be Doing May Include
* Providing personal care – helping with showering and dressing
* Helping around the home – meal preparation and light house cleaning
* Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
* Assisting with medication
About You
* You are patient, solutions-focused and able to relate to people
* Have previous experience in aged or community care, or you are looking to start a career in aged care
* Hold a valid driver's licence and have access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third‑party property insurance)
* Ideally, hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; if not yet qualified we can help you obtain it
* Flexible around clients' changing needs
