Now Hiring: Experienced Part-Time Security Officers
Starting at $20.00/hr
Location: Akron | Schedule: Part-Time
Shifts Available:
* Monday to Friday: 12 Noon – 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced security professional seeking a part-time role where your skills make a real impact? Join our team at Signet to maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. We seek dependable, detail-oriented individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct inspections, monitor activity, and secure critical areas
* Screen outgoing materials, mail, and trash to prevent asset loss
* Enforce company policies and regulations professionally and fairly
* Monitor compliance with laws and regulations
* Prepare detailed incident reports
* Maintain positive public relations and team atmosphere
* Attend ongoing training in security practices
* Qualify annually with a firearm (required)
* Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
We seek professional, reliable individuals committed to safety and service.
Preferred Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Prior private security experience; military or law enforcement background preferred
* Valid 20-Hour Private Security Firearms Certificate (O.P.O.T.C.) or ability to obtain within 90 days
* Strong communication skills
* Good judgment and ability to stay calm under pressure
