We are currently seeking two appropriately experienced Early Childhood Educators to join the team at the Port Fairy service. We are accepting applications from both Cert 3 and Diploma qualified educators for these permanent full-time roles.
Join our team of educators in providing a safe and fun learning environment for the children and their families.
To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential
- Drivers licence
- Certificate III / Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or working towards) in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Current first aid certificate (including anaphylaxis and asthma training)
- Employee working with children check
Experience
Desirable
- Relevant experience working in an early childhood setting
- Working knowledge of the regulations, standards, frameworks
Key selection criteria 1
Knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning, this would include but is not limited to the early years learning framework and associated support resources as well as the Victorian early years learning and development framework
Key selection criteria 2
Able to take personal responsibility for self-evaluation and professional development.
Key selection criteria 3
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time to achieve required outcomes
