About the role
Polyflora is seeking a passionate Floral Merchandiser to join our team in Bundall, QLD. As a casual Floral Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging floral displays in our retail stores, ensuring our products are presented in the most attractive and compelling way to drive sales.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and building eye-catching displays.
* Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of our floral and homeware availabilities
* Transporting stock to each of the stores using a delivery van and utilising loading docks as required.
* Restocking and replenishing floral and homeware inventory as needed.
* The role is physical and you will be required to lift up to 12kgs.
* Providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail including liaising with store managers and on duty managers.
* Collaborating with the retail team to implement seasonal and promotional floral displays including updating team on extra items required for each store.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Floral Merchandiser or similar role in the retail or floral industry is great however experience is not required. As long as you have drive and good eye for styling we will teach you the rest.
* Must have a valid Australia drivers licence and be capable of driving a Van.
* Car licence (C class) is required for this position.
* Strong creative flair and an eye for design to create visually stunning displays
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Attention to detail and the capability to work efficiently and independently
* Flexibility to work a casual schedule. Rostered hours are generally Monday to Friday between 8am and 3pm however some weekends where special days occur such as Mother's Day and Valentine's Day you may be required to work.
* Full work rights in Australia are required for this position.
